Coriander has wide delicate lacy green leaves and a pungent flavour. It is a versatile herb that adds a lot of flavour to food. The leaves can be chopped up and added to curries, Asian salads, raita, salsa and used in home-made guacamole. Both the leaves and the stalks can be used. Plant in well-drained soil, in a sunny position with some shade during the hottest part of the day. Suitable for a deep garden container as it has long tap roots. Keep the plants well watered.
